Sim City Metropolis Work directly under the SimNation President and your goal is to build a Metropolis with the strongest economy and the happiest Sims that you can. You work in three different district: Residential, Commercial and Industrial. Each month, you'll construct new buildings in the city, listen to the concerns of the President and complaints of your Sims, and then take action. Each district's well-being depends on its buildings: Homes, Workplaces and Venues. Sims need access to each type of building to be happy, but each building can only serve a limited number of Sims. Each building indicates the happiness modifier for the Sims present, the current and maximum number of occupants, and the construction cost. Districts also need buildings to be prosperous. Each building affects at least one of the city performance indicators. Selecting your buildings wisely is the key to a balanced district. You can construct buildings on an open space, demolish old buildings to make way for new buildings, or recycle a building into a same-sized building when available. Tips: Extremely happy Sims are more productive at work. Homeless Sims can grow tired of their situation and leave the district for a better place to live. Sim criminals can make other Sims unhappy! Setting up a good commute system is the best way to avoid traffic jams. Sims that miss work too often will soon lose their job. Few job opportunities and high crime rates make it hard for your city to attract Sims. Sims citizen who are unemployed for too long eventually lose their home. If you like the previous series, you won't be disappointed in SimCity Metropolis!
